TASR – Mikulas Knizka, winner of the Serpa Ralley – contest of alpine carriers with 60 kg load, 22.10.2000, just near the end at Zbojnícka chata (chalet) in High Tatras. M.Knizka was starting for the Zbojnícka chata team and did the track from Hrebienok to Zbojnícka chata with 60 kg load in 1 hour 22 min and 59 sec. The tourist time of this track is about 3 hours. In the right half of the picture there is the head of Viktor Beránek, the founder of this unique contest.

TASR – Chata pod Rysmi (chalet) in High Tatras on 4.2.2000 as it had been damaged 10 days ago by an avalanche. The avalanche from Cesky peak (in the right backround) swept away the part of the chalet that served as an accomodation facility. Wreckage parts of the chalet were found cca 400 meters underneath it.
